We are delighted to welcome you to La Mer, our family home by the sea. Every detail of this house has been designed to offer peace, comfort, and quality time together. Nestled in Mesquer, Brittany, just steps from pristine beaches and at the heart of the salt marshes, La Mer is a serene retreat for those seeking tranquility and connection with nature.
After 14 months of passionate renovation, we lovingly restored this traditional stone and black timber house, preserving its original character while introducing modern comfort, natural light, and a calm, inviting atmosphere. The home is designed to host up to 9 guests, making it ideal for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking for a stylish and inspiring getaway.
La Mer is a place to pause, recharge, and enjoy life together. With thoughtful touches throughout, from cozy living areas to a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms, every moment here is meant to feel effortless and restorative.
We created this home with care, attention, and love, and we hope to welcome guests who will treat it with the same respect, allowing it to remain a sanctuary for many to enjoy.

Inside La Mer, you’ll discover a spacious, light-filled living room, bathed in natural light from large floor-to-ceiling windows that frame views of the garden, terraces, and salt marshes. Each room has been designed with high-quality materials—polished concrete, oak, linen, and natural wood—in a soft, muted color palette that creates a serene and relaxing atmosphere.
Outside, the carefully landscaped garden offers complete tranquility, with only the gentle sounds of birdsong and nature as your soundtrack. It is the perfect setting to unwind, read, play, or simply enjoy quality time with your family.
The ground floor features a master suite with a polished concrete bathroom and private WC, accessed through a built-in bookshelf for a touch of whimsy and privacy. The large, welcoming kitchen opens onto a second terrace, ideal for alfresco meals. A dining room with a custom-made stove, a playroom for children, a laundry room, and two additional toilets complete the floor, ensuring both comfort and functionality for families and guests.

La Mer – Where Design Meets Nature, Since 2025
La Mer offers a spacious living area and an open kitchen with stunning views over the salt marshes, creating a bright and welcoming heart of the home. On the ground floor, a parental suite features a mezzanine and a private bathroom, offering a serene retreat for adults.
Upstairs, you’ll find three additional bedrooms sharing a modern bathroom, designed to comfortably accommodate children or guests. A separate playroom on the ground floor, tucked behind the original brick facade, provides a safe and fun space for little ones. The home also includes a fully equipped laundry room for added convenience.
The house combines a dark timber and traditional brick aesthetic with modern comfort, while a large terrace wraps around the property, overlooking the garden and offering multiple areas to relax, enjoy the outdoors, or entertain.
La Mer accommodates up to 10 guests from June 2025, making it ideal for large families or groups of friends. Families with babies are welcome, and a travel cot is available upon request.

A children’s room with a bunk bed, perfect for little ones.

A spacious master bedroom with breathtaking views, a king-size bed, and room for a baby (travel cot and crib available).
The floor is completed by a family bathroom with a bathtub, thoughtfully designed for ease and comfort, making it ideal for family stays or multi-generational holidays.
